This is my Free choice writing for my report.

The zapped house

Once upon a time, there was three girls. The three girls names were, Isabel, Riley and Sophie. Isabel loved Netball and animals, Riley loved any kind of sports and her favorite colors are green, dark purple and black, Sophie loved Netball and animals like just like Isabel.

They were the best of friends until … a dark noisy lightning storm. That lightning storms lightning was so powerful that if it struck something it would tear it apart and destroy it. That night the lightning struck a house in a small town called Lilly Hop valley. One of the three girls lived in that house her name was Riley. The next day they meet at school. Isabel and Sophie wanted to play netball so they asked Riley if she wanted to but Riley said “No thanks” and walked off. Isabel and Sophie ran after her and asked what kind of sport do you want to play, Riley replied with “None I just want to brush my long lush’s hair.” “What!” said the two girls together. They had never heard that before well at least not out of her mouth.

“Why is she acting like that” said the two girls.”What is up with her today” said Isabel. “I don’t know but it is not very good, We've never seen her act like this before” said Sophie. “Let’s go home and then go to bed and hope that everything will go back to normal” said Sophie. “Okay, I can do that” said Isabel. The next morning the three girls meet at school again. Sophie and  Isabel spotted  Riley walking in front of them.”Hay, Riley” said the two girls together.Riley just stopped and stared.”why is she just stopping and staring without speaking” Isabel whisperd. “I don’t know but she's been acting like this ever since the night after the lightning storm” said Sophie. “That’s it it” said Isabel. “What is it” said Sophie. “The storm probably hit her house and Zapped her when she was sleeping” said Isabel. “Ohhh, you're so smart”Said sophie.

“So all we have to do is science” said Isabel. “I heard something about us doing science, and surely everyone knows that I love science and so does Isabel, we are both in love with science” said Sophie. “So you’ll do it?” asked Isabel. “Yeah, I’ll do it” yelled Sophie. All they have to do is find out if there is another lightning storm and then calculate it to find out what time it is and where it is. If it hit the house again then maybe she would go back to normal but if it doesn't work then it could kill her, Sophie and Isabel won’t like the sounds of that. They went to the science lab at their school. They calculated when and where the lightning storm would take place. The two girls were surprised that it could be done so they each said “Meet back here tomorrow and you will bring Riley back here as well.” “Me” said the girls. “I’ll do it” said Sophie. “Awsome” said Isabel. So the next morning they met back at the science lab. Sophie had Riley walking next to her. “Riley go home and stay home until 10:00 at night go to sleep at 9:00” said Isabel. “Alright” said Riley. “Yes, Our job here is done” said Isabel. “Well this bit is, remember she still has to get zapped for our job to be done” said Sophie. “You're right, we do have to wait until tonight” said Isabel. :Yep but it’s not going to seem like long if we do something that would get our minds of the zapping Riley with lightning” said Sophie. “I guess we're doing that plan then” said Isabel. “Yep” said Sophie.

That night the lightning storm took place in the right place and at the right time. Suddenly there was a loud boom coming from Riley’s house. The big boom was the lightning that struck Riley's house. Well Riley was sleeping The next morning Isabel and Sophie rushed two Riley’s house and dragged her all the way to the science lab at their school. “What are we doing here we should be out on the courts playing basketball and netball” said Riley. “Yes she's back to her normal self” said Sophie first then straight after Sophie said it Isabel said the exact same thing. “Now let's go outside and shoot some hoops” said Riley. After that day the three girls all lived happily ever after.

I am proud of this because it is my personal best.

My biggest challenge was thinking about what to put at the start.
